How to Visit Museum Tinguely

From Basel SBB railway station, take tram 1 or 2 to Wettsteinplatz, then change to bus 31 or 38 and alight at Tinguely Museum. From Basel Badischer Bahnhof, take bus 36.

When arriving by car from Switzerland, use the Basel Wettstein/Ost exit and park at Badischer Bahnhof. For arrivals from Germany or France, note that the Basel Wettsteinallee motorway exit is closed through the end of 2026; use Hochbergerstrasse on the A2 or Riehenring on the A3 instead. There is no ordinary visitor parking directly in front of the museum, so use the Badischer Bahnhof or Messe parking garage. Designated accessible parking is available at the museum entrance on Grenzacherstrasse.
