Artist Lin May Saeed is participating in the upcoming collective exhibition Le Singe et L’Argile (The Monkey and the Clay) at the Fondation d‘entreprise Martell. Scheduled to run from 30 May 2026 through 3 January 2027, the presentation brings together international creators to examine themes of cross-species collaboration.
Exploring Interspecies Alliances and Eco-Futurism
Curated by Emilie Villez, the exhibition blends elements of play, poetry, and science fiction. Nine artists from around the world contribute works that foster a dialogue between natural, human, and technological systems, touching upon concepts like eco-futurism and collective transformation.
The participating group features Tania Candiani, AKI INOMATA, Bagus Pandega, Agnieszka Polska, Lin May Saeed, Shimabuku, Jessica Warboys, Trevor Yeung, and Robert Zhao Renhui. Visitors will encounter a forest-inspired scenography housing a diverse array of medium types, including sculptural pieces, installations, moving images, and sound works.
