Naia del Castillo Explores Boundaries at Espacio Marzana in Bilbao
Visitors to Espacio Marzana can experience the first solo exhibition at the gallery by artist Naia del Castillo, titled Desplazamientos. Unlike her usual working methods, the artist began this series by photographing forests, plants, and faces. About the Artist
Born in Bilbao in 1975, del Castillo specialized in sculpture at the University of Fine Arts of the Basque Country and later completed a Master of Fine Arts at the Chelsea College of Art in London. Her international career includes residencies in Paris, Rome, and New York, alongside exhibitions across the United States, China, South Korea, and Japan. Her work is held in major collections such as the Museo del Prado, Museo Reina Sofía, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
