Known for its dedication to contemporary work, illustration, and urban art, the venue is reimagining its approach to traditional gallery openings by blending visual art, culinary experiences, and live performance.
What to Expect from the ARTYOU Concept in Basel
The updated concept transforms the exhibition space using flexible lighting, furnishings, and spatial design. Rather than viewing works passively, visitors and invited guests are invited to interact with and integrate directly into the environment. Each area is curated by individual figures and creative collectives who bring their own networks and perspectives to the project, turning the entire event into an immersive installation.
This evolution emphasizes collaboration among local institutions, cultural spaces, and research initiatives, working to highlight and connect the vibrant creative scene across Basel. Additionally, Raphael Reichert has joined the team as an arts and culture manager to help guide these multidisciplinary projects.
