As the contemporary art scene in Basel looks toward an upcoming chapter and a future relocation to the Dreispitz area in Münchenstein, Kunsthaus Baselland honors its rich history with a landmark exhibition. Guests will also discover Stefan Auf der Maur’s fragile paintings on discarded plastic bags, Amélie Bargetzi’s thoughtful cinematic portrait of an industrial Provençal town, and Claudia Gutiérrez Marfull’s textile interventions responding to urban transformation.
The multi-faceted lineup continues with intimate ballpoint pen narratives by Noemi Pfister, monumental wall drawings by Anita Kuratle, and atmospheric sound sculptures by Laura Mietrup and Robin Michel.
