Fábrica Cervezas Victoria Hosts Auditions for Teatro del Soho Caixabank Production in Málaga
The spaces at Fábrica Cervezas Victoria recently transformed into a casting venue, welcoming hopeful actors for an upcoming stage production. As part of its ongoing support for local arts and culture, the brewery on Avenida Velázquez opened its doors to help facilitate the search for acting talent.
Behind the Scenes at the Málaga Brewery Casting Sessions
The casting sessions were organized in collaboration with the Teatro del Soho Caixabank, for which the brewery serves as an official sponsor. The production in development is a Spanish adaptation of On the Piste, a comedy written by British playwright John Godber. Direction for this version is handled by Marc Montserrat–Drukker, with translation and adaptation by Ignacio García May.
Out of a large pool of applicants, hopefuls aged between 30 and 50 gathered at the brewery space to try out for roles in the upcoming staging. The facility accommodated the tryouts under health and safety protocols, utilizing staggered schedules, capacity management, and hygiene measures to accommodate participants.
Following these initial rounds at the brewery, the Spanish premiere of the production is lined up to debut, with subsequent touring plans under consideration.
