STAMPA Galerie Summer Update: Exhibitions, Awards, and Cultural Highlights in Basel

Upcoming Exhibitions and Seasonal Closures in Basel
The gallery and its adjoining bookshop will take a brief seasonal break from July 14 to August 8, 2026. Following this summer pause, the exhibition calendar picks up with a busy autumn season.
Later in August, the gallery participates in Kunsttage Basel, offering three days of concentrated art events across seventy local venues. Visitors can experience MARTINA GMÜR. 37+ during special opening hours, alongside artist-led gallery walkthroughs with Martina Gmür scheduled for the afternoons of August 29 and August 30, 2026. Local Recognitions and International Projects
Beyond its physical space, STAMPA Galerie remains closely linked to wider achievements within the Swiss arts community. The Kunstkredit Basel-Stadt has honored artist Monika Dillier with the Basler Kunstpreis. The public award ceremony is scheduled for September 24, 2026, at the Kunsthalle Basel as part of the annual Kunstkredit exhibition.
