They capture the female silhouette in backlight, as the models were positioned in front of a large window, resulting in a rhythmic fragmentation of form and movement. Describing his creative process, Sistiaga compared these drawings to musical improvisations at the piano. He produced them at high speed using his left hand, focusing entirely on the movements of the models rather than looking at the paper. By relying on the sound of the wax moving across the surface, the artist maintained his connection to the unfolding forms, allowing the drawings to develop as an intuitive, sensory response to the observed body.
