Carmen de Auriago Book Launch and Lyrical Recital at Casa Museo Suso de Marcos in Malaga
The gardens of the Casa Museo Suso de Marcos in Malaga are set to host a unique cultural evening blending literature, sculpture, and live performance. On July 25, 2026, at 21:30, the venue will serve as the backdrop for the presentation of "La gran jaula" (The Great Cage), the first installment of the KOI pentalogy by author Carmen de Auriago, alongside her accompanying Humanist Manifesto.

Attending the Evening Recital in the Museum Gardens
For culture seekers and visitors in Malaga, the event offers a rare opportunity to experience live performances integrated into the sculptor's personal studio and garden environment. To complement the literary themes of the book, Suso de Marcos is providing two of his own sculptures to be displayed directly on the stage during the presentation.
The musical portion of the evening features collaboration from composer Martín-Jaime and soprano Klaudya, a past winner of the RTVE competition ARIA: Locos por la Ópera. Together, they will perform classic opera arias along with "3 canciones de Koi" (Three Songs of Koi), an original musical piece composed specifically around the author's poetry.
In addition to the musical performances, a poetry reading will feature the voices of Ruth García Delgado and the author. They will be accompanied by live musical composition on stage by Maestro Martín-Jaime. The evening's program will be introduced by Jesús Baena Criado, a poet and lecturer at the University of Malaga.
