Green Fire presents a unique botanical collection that honors the history of the Bierzo region. By integrating a collection of tree ferns—some reaching 7 meters in height—into the cavernous industrial structure of the former Compostilla I boiler room, the exhibition serves as a living metaphor for energy transformation. The plants, which originated in Australia and New Zealand, represent the prehistoric flora that once covered the region's coal basins, effectively linking the industrial past of the site with the life-sustaining process of photosynthesis.
