Fondation Brasilea Painting Afternoon for Children in Basel
Families looking for creative activities in Basel can soon head to the port district for a dedicated children's workshop. The Fondation Brasilea has scheduled a special painting afternoon tailored specifically for young art enthusiasts.
Creative Afternoon Activities for Young Visitors
Scheduled for Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the event welcomes children between the ages of 4 and 8. The afternoon begins with a guided look at the current “Between two homelands – Entre duas pátrias” exhibition. During this walkthrough, young participants will follow the emigration journey of founder Walter Wüthrich to Brazil.
Following the gallery tour, the children will have the opportunity to pick up brushes and creatively interpret their own personal journeys on canvas. A small snack will be served following the painting session to round out the afternoon.
Participation costs CHF 7.- per child, which covers all necessary creative materials. Because space is limited, prior registration is required and can be completed by emailing [email protected].
