Live Arts Festival Returns to MEET Málaga and City Cultural Spaces
Málaga's contemporary creative scene is set to take center stage as the Live Arts Festival (FAV) returns for its second edition. Running from April 13 to April 25, 2026, this two-week event transforms several key cultural venues across the city into collaborative spaces for live performance, dance, theater, and interactive public projects.
Among the primary hosts is the MEET Málaga Espacio Expositivo Tabacalera. Located within the historic Tabacalera complex, this municipal exhibition center will host a diverse series of boundary-pushing performances designed to change how visitors interact with traditional exhibition galleries.

- The "Parque" Community Project: Spearheaded by Cristian Alcaraz and Violeta Niebla, this real-time writing and performance initiative works alongside local community groups. - "Yo / contigo / aquí": A collaborative mirror-based performance by artist Rocío Texeira in partnership with local university students from the Faculty of Education.
- Festival Closing Performance by Gero Domínguez: On April 25, the final day of the festival, Domínguez presents a performance combining contemporary dance, flamenco song, and poetry. The show features vocals by Perrate and guitar accompaniment from Maui de Utrera, followed by a panel discussion reflecting on the creative processes of the festival.
