Visitor Amenities at St. Stephen's Cathedral

A lift provides access to the North Tower.

The lift to the North Tower is barrier-free but only partially suitable for wheelchairs due to its door width (56cm) and cabin width (130cm).

Main entrance and an exit are step-free.

Visitors with reduced mobility can enter via the main portal. Exit through the Primtor with a ramp (only as an exit after services).

Allowed for private use only. Any non-private and commercial use requires previous written consent from the Church Master’s office.

The use of tripods is prohibited within the cathedral.

While general entry to the cathedral is free, there are specific areas within the church to which there is only paid access.
