The exhibition 'Zwischen Form und Gefühl' by Iris Dostal explores the relationship between structure and free flow, examining transitions between order and intuition. Her works use lines, surfaces, and materials to convey inner processes and emotional resonances.
Iris Dostal's exhibition, 'Zwischen Form und Gefühl' (Between Form and Feeling), navigates the dynamic space between structure and spontaneous expression. The artworks presented investigate the transitions between order and intuition, condensation and openness. Through the deliberate use of lines, surfaces, and materials, Dostal creates carriers of internal processes and emotional resonances, inviting viewers to engage with the act of perception itself and to allow meaning to emerge organically from their own gaze. Iris Dostal, born in Granada, Spain, studied conceptual art, painting, and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She has a significant exhibition history both domestically and internationally and has received awards such as the Theodor Körner Prize. Currently living and working in Trahütten, her artistic practice is interested in integrating elements of local culture, nature, and life intertwined with nature into her work.
