Its permanent exhibition, "Our City!", traces the journey of Jewish presence from its origins to the present day, with the ground floor focusing on the period from 1945 onwards and the second floor covering Jewish history up to 1938/1945. A notable feature is a 3D animation offering virtual access to Vienna's synagogues destroyed in 1938. The museum also hosts a variety of exciting temporary exhibitions and events. The Jewish Museum was founded in 1895, making it the world's first of its kind, and is planning a special program for its 130th anniversary in 2025. The museum's offerings extend to its Display Depot, which showcases collections and their collectors, and the Studio, a space for exploring ritual everyday objects. The Palais Eskeles itself is welcoming, with a façade featuring a light installation by artist Brigitte Kowanz and a faithfully recreated spacious entrance area. Visitors can also enjoy the Taïm Café on the ground floor. Additionally, the ticket for the Jewish Museum grants admission to the Museum Judenplatz, which includes its Holocaust memorial.
