This special exhibition, 'Jamboree - the second part!', showcases further World Scout Jamborees following the success of the 2023 exhibition. It features stories, experiences, and objects from various countries, highlighting the fascination of Jamborees.
Building on the success of the 2023 exhibition, 'Jamboree - the second part!' delves into additional World Scout Jamborees, featuring a diverse range of countries including Greece, Iran, the Philippines, Thailand, Norway, Australia, France, USA, and South Korea. The exhibition aims to convey the fascination of the Jamboree through small stories, personal accounts, and exhibited objects from these nations. Highlights include a replica of the camp gates from the 1963 Greek Jamboree, connections to Mozart and Falco at the 2002/2003 Thai Jamboree, details of the 1975 North Jamboree, experiences from South Korea in 1991 and 2023, a look at the 1947 French Jamboree's focus on building cooking equipment, and insights into the 1963 Greek Jamboree's events. The exhibition also touches upon the four Jamborees held in England, marking significant anniversaries and promotional efforts. Information in Braille is available at each station, and elements from the museum's permanent exhibition on the 1951 Bad Ischl Jamboree, such as the original flag and the 'Stock im Eisen', are also integrated.
