York Oratory Announces Michaelmas 2026 Talking Heads Series on the Prophet Isaiah
Visitors looking to engage with sacred history and scripture in York will have a new opportunity this autumn as the York Oratory prepares to launch its upcoming "Talking Heads" lecture series. Beginning in mid-September 2026, the programme will focus closely on the Prophet Isaiah, offering local attendees and pilgrims structured sessions led by Fr Daniel.
Exploring Scripture at the York Oratory
Held across multiple weekly sessions, the Michaelmas 2026 series provides a welcoming environment for those interested in deepening their understanding of biblical texts. Sessions are scheduled for Mondays at 7.30pm in the Oratory House and Tuesdays at 1.00pm in the Upper Room.
The schedule runs through September and October, starting on the week of 14 and 15 September, continuing on 28 and 29 September, and following through every Monday and Tuesday in October. Attendees should note that there will be a brief pause in the programme, with no sessions taking place on Monday 21 September or Tuesday 22 September.
