Sala BBK Opens Applications for New Digital Talent and Tech Employment Bootcamps in Bilbao
Sala BBK has announced the opening of applications for its latest educational initiative aimed at strengthening digital talent and driving tech employment throughout the region. Organized in partnership with Lanbide and The Bridge, this ongoing community program provides intensive, specialized pathways designed to connect local participants with the demands of modern technology industries.
What to Expect from the 14th Edition of the Tech Bootcamps
Running over a 12-week duration, the intensive curriculum focuses on practical, hands-on learning models tailored to current workplace needs. Prospective participants can choose from four distinct technical specializations:
- Web Development with AI: Focused on building website architectures and web applications from scratch utilizing leading full-stack programming technologies.
- Cybersecurity: Centered on safeguarding digital networks and mastering methodologies to identify, prevent, and handle digital threats in professional settings.
- Data Science & AI: Training students in advanced analytics using Python, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning frameworks to construct decision-making artificial intelligence models.
- Digital Marketing & AI: Covering essential branding, search engine strategies, e-commerce operations, and growth hacking augmented by AI-driven campaign optimization tools.
Alongside hard technical skills, the curriculum emphasizes adaptability and structured problem-solving to help attendees thrive in fast-paced technological environments.
Subsidized Opportunities and Admission Criteria
The initiative is fully subsidized by BBK and Lanbide for eligible residents of the Basque Country. To qualify for the tuition-free places, applicants must meet specific requirements, including being over 18 years of age, holding a valid work permit in Spain, being unemployed and registered with Lanbide, and having completed higher-level vocational training or high school (Bachillerato). Prior professional experience in the technology sector is not necessary, as the evaluation places high value on individual motivation and aptitude for learning.
