Experience the Annual Flower Festival at Ctěnice Castle: A Celebration of Spring Botany and Garden Culture

The annual spring Flower Festival fills the courtyard of Ctěnice Castle with the scents and colors of a wide variety of plants, from peonies and azaleas to rare trees. The event features themed lectures, historical talks, musical performances, and creative activities for children, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors.

The Ctěnice Castle courtyard will be transformed into a floral paradise during the annual spring Flower Festival, organized by the Gardeners’ Guild. Visitors can expect a rich sensory experience with the fragrance of peonies, azaleas, and fresh herbs, alongside a colorful display of plants including perennials and rare trees. The event is complemented by beautiful music, themed lectures, and talks delving into the history of Ctěnice. A dedicated program for children includes a puppet show and interactive "Playful Botany" lessons that combine art, movement, and botanical learning. Food stands will be available, encouraging visitors to enjoy a picnic within the castle grounds. The flower market will showcase a diverse range of plants such as English roses, peonies, azaleas, magnolias, balcony plants, rock plants, historical perennials, and fresh-cut flowers, alongside unique botanical specimens.
