What to Expect From Performnord 2027
The initiative is structured to spotlight contemporary performance practices and expand visibility for the art form. The upcoming program is divided into two distinct phases. The first phase runs from September 2 to 5, operating as a professional showcase geared toward industry programmers and specialists. The second phase follows from September 6 to 12 as a public festival.
Backed by Nordic national art agencies and initiated by the Danish Arts Foundation, the project is organized by Copenhagen International Theatre - Metropolis. It aims to build a more sustainable and visible framework for performance art internationally, creating valuable connections for regional creators.
