Overcoming Fear of Heights: Transformative Workshop at Danube Tower Vienna for Anxiety Management

This practical workshop at the Danube Tower Vienna is designed to help individuals overcome mild to moderate fear of heights. Participants will learn scientifically grounded strategies and engage in self-exposure exercises in a real-life high-altitude environment.

The Danube Tower Vienna has launched a unique workshop aimed at addressing the widespread fear of heights in Austria. Developed in collaboration with the Psychological Centre Phobius, this program provides participants with scientifically backed strategies and practical self-exposure exercises to manage and reduce their anxiety at heights. The workshop combines a one-hour theoretical session covering the psychological mechanisms of fear and regulation techniques with a two-hour practical session conducted at various levels of the tower, including the staircase, terraces, and tower cafe, with psychologists available for support. Participants can optionally test their newfound confidence on the Danube Tower slide. This initiative transforms the iconic structure into a space for personal challenge and growth.

The workshop costs EUR 199 per person and includes an admission ticket, a slide ticket, and three hours of therapeutic guidance. A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 14 participants are required for each session. Booking is available online. This workshop is intended as independent training and not as clinical psychological treatment or psychotherapy.
