Facilities and Amenities: Basilica of the Holy Blood

Accessible parking is available on Burg Square, right outside the basilica.

There are two designated special parking bays on Burg Square.

A lift is available to access the upper floor spaces and the treasury.

To use the lift, visitors must place a call at the lift and speak into the intercom. Some manoeuvring is required to enter and exit.

Guide dogs and service animals are welcome inside the venue.

Supported city-wide as part of Bruges' partnership with the European Disability Card.

The lower chapel has no steps and is accessible, but there is limited room to manoeuvre at the entrance.

The door at the entrance is very heavy.

The lower chapel is accessible but has limited space to manoeuvre. The upper floor and treasury have narrow but accessible passageways.

Exhibited materials in the treasury are difficult to see from a wheelchair, and the upper chapel doors are very heavy.
