An open artistic hub in Bruges hosting international exhibitions, public debates, and diverse cultural events under one roof.

Located in the Historic Centre of Bruges, BRUSK is an innovative artistic hotspot operated by Musea Brugge. This dynamic cultural center hosts ground-breaking, contemporary art exhibitions of international allure while also acting as a preservation hub for municipal art. Within its open galleries, visitors can explore dedicated zones like the Scala, the Forum, and the Aula. Alongside these diverse exhibitions, the welcoming venue features an on-site restaurant, a museum shop, and fully accessible creative spaces designed to bring different communities and art forms together.

The BRUSK project was initiated in 2018 to design a large, climate-controlled exhibition space in Bruges. Construction began at the Garenmarkt in 2021, realized by developer CIT Red for approximately forty million euros. In August 2025, Kristl Strubbe was appointed director of Musea Brugge to oversee the new venue. Following a popular pre-opening event, the site held its official **public opening** in May 2026, welcoming thousands of visitors.
