The exhibition at the Josef Sudek Gallery presents a curated selection of photographs by Petr Balíček (1942–2020). Balíček, who was also a genetics researcher, pursued a variety of photographic subjects throughout his career. His work includes documentary series, staged photography created in the 1970s and 1980s as part of the artists’ association Setkání, and later cycles focused on traditional medicine, folk customs, homosexuality, and congenital disorders. The display also features conceptual photographs capturing art happenings like "Small Afternoon Events" (1981) and "Storage of Shadows" (1982), alongside minimalist motifs such as "Panelstory" (1982), "Ready-mades" (1982), and "Study of a Cube" (1983–1986).
