Visitor Amenities at Haus des Meeres

Located on Ground floor, Floor 5, Floor 10, and Floor 11.

You can take the elevator to each floor and to the terraces as well.

Assistance dogs (with ID, vaccination card, and identification harness) are allowed, except on floors 2, 4, 9, and 9.1 where animals move freely.

98% of the Haus des Meeres is accessible. Elevators reach all floors and terraces. The Tropical Area is accessible from both sides. New south galleries (levels 1 and 3) are not accessible. One accompanying person per wheelchair user has free entry.

Child-friendly areas and activities like free-roaming animals, underwater glass domes, nibbling fish pool, and children's birthday parties with treasure hunts.

Stroller parking spaces are located by the cloakrooms and lockers on the ground floor. Strollers are not allowed in the tropical house, the Congo aquarium and the Australia loop. Large prams, bicycle trailers, and wagon strollers are discouraged due to shortage of space.
