The installation 'Ringen um Erinnerung' by Iris Andraschek and Anna Artaker delves into the persistent conflicts surrounding the remembrance of the Nazi past and its contemporary implications. It questions how and where to commemorate, how to honor victims' stories, and the appropriateness of certain comparisons and references. The work, suspended from the ceiling, is comprised of four interlinked rings, each approximately 2 meters in diameter, featuring LED scrolling text. These bands present diverse perspectives: statements from NS terror survivors, headlines from current controversies, responses from students engaging with the question 'What to do?', and titles from the web exhibition 'Baustellen der NS-Erinnerung'. The interconnectedness of the rings symbolizes the complex and irresolvable nature of historical memory and present-day disputes.
