This exhibition showcases the latest works created by fourteen resident artists during their 2024/25 residency at the BilbaoArte Foundation. The collection features around thirty new pieces, offering a representative sample of contemporary art trends, techniques, and creative processes from artists of diverse backgrounds and ages.
The project presents the latest productions by fourteen artists who participated in the 2024/25 BilbaoArte Foundation residency program. Through intensive work in the Urazurrutia and Open Gela studios, these artists developed an important body of work that has been added to the BilbaoArte Collection. The exhibition highlights the variety of their artistic investigations, ranging from performance art and sculpture to experimental video and interdisciplinary projects that explore identity, urban spaces, and technological innovation. In addition to the main artworks, the exhibition includes fourteen special artist book editions, further expanding the creative possibilities within the language and practice of each participant. The selection serves as an overview of contemporary methodologies, demonstrating how different materials and narrative structures are synthesized into complex installations and tactile forms. The exhibition provides insight into the diverse perspectives and developmental paths of the selected artists, supported by the technical expertise and mentorship offered throughout their residency.
Admission to the exhibition is free of charge. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and on Sundays and holidays from 11:00 to 14:00. The venue is closed on Mondays.
