The Archiv výtvarného umění (Archive of Fine Arts) is dedicated to Czech and Slovak typography, holding over 30,000 volumes. Established in 2014, the BOOKS edition specifically highlights significant typographic achievements. The exhibition 'Edice BOOKS 6+7' presents two recent installments. The 'Mladé cesty' (6th volume of BOOKS) series, launched in 1961 by Mladá fronta, featured poetry for young Czech authors (1961–1969) with designs by UMPRUM students and prose (1963–1969) featuring unique graphic design by Jiří Rathouský, inspired by experimental art. The 'Slovenská poézia' (Slovak Poetry) and 'Otvorené okná' (Open Windows) (7th volume of BOOKS) series focuses on exceptional editions from Slovakia, published by Slovenský spisovateľ. These series are notable for their literary merit and artistic quality, with contributions from Slovak artists and designers of the 1960s and 1970s. 'Slovenská poézia' was curated by Ľubomír Krátký, featuring original black and white illustrations and graphic design by artists like Miroslav Cipár and Naďa Rappensbergerová, with Albín Brunovský as art advisor. 'Otvorené okná' was overseen by Ladislav Hruškovič, with covers and bindings by Rudolf Krivoš, and included striking collages by artists such as Andrej Barčík and Rudolf Fila.
