BERG Contemporary Artists Featured in Major Exhibition in Orońsko
Icelandic Contemporary Art Takes Center Stage at the Centre of Polish Sculpture
Prominent artists connected to BERG Contemporary—Rósa Gísladóttir, Sigurður Guðjónsson, and Finnbogi Pétursson—are bringing their work to international audiences through a major new exhibition. Titled Two-Headed. Art of Iceland, the showcase is hosted by the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko and represents one of the most comprehensive presentations of contemporary Icelandic art in Poland to date.
The exhibition opens to the public on February 28, 2026, and will remain on view through May 3, 2026. Curated by Paulina Brzuskiewicz-Kuhn, with coordination by Mariusz Andrzejczyk and Stanisław Małecki, the project spans multiple indoor and outdoor venues across the Orońsko institution. Visitors can view installations across the main museum building, the historic Orangery, the Coach House galleries, and the expansive Sculpture Park.
A notable aspect of the presentation is the creation of site-specific works. Several participating artists produced pieces directly on location, taking advantage of the specialized workshop facilities available at the Polish sculpture center.
