Salurinn Concert Hall Launches Pre-Sale for 2025–2026 Concert Series
Salurinn Concert Hall has officially opened advance ticket sales for its diverse 2025–2026 concert season. As a cornerstone of the local cultural landscape, Iceland's first purpose-designed concert hall is preparing another extensive lineup across three distinct recurring series: Tíbrá, Söngvaskáld, and Af fingrum fram.
Exploring the 2025–2026 Concert Series at Salurinn
Under the leadership of venue director Axel Ingi Árnason, the upcoming winter season builds on the success of previous years by expanding performance schedules and welcoming established and emerging artists alike.
- Tíbrá: The classical music series returns with an expanded nine-concert program. Blending traditional masterpieces with contemporary pieces and experimental arrangements, performances take place on Sundays at 13:30, preceded by an introductory artist talk at 13:00. Subscribers can access the full series at a discounted rate.
- Söngvaskáld: Entering its third year, this intimate singer-songwriter series highlights artists performing original material and discussing their creative processes. The upcoming season features performances by Árný Margrét, Salka Valsdóttir, Bjarni Daníel, and Daði Freyr.
- Af fingrum fram: Now in its sixteenth season, Jón Ólafsson's popular conversation and concert series features prominent guests including Ari Eldjárn, Björn Jörundur, Pálmi Gunnarsson, Selma and Hansa, Helga Möller and Jóhann Helgason (Þú & ég), Katrín Halldóra, Sigurður Guðmundsson, Sigtryggur Baldursson (Bogomil Font), and the duo Saga Garðars and Snorri Helga.
