A Flower in My Mouth Exhibition of Contemporary Art at Salzburger Kunstverein

The project highlights how these ephemeral beauties can act as a mute language of deception and allusion, and explores the potential for new tongues to blossom within the silences created by traditional floral symbolism. The exhibition is rooted in the research of its creators—Mehraneh Atashi, Sara Giannini, and Jacopo Miliani—and builds upon their recent publications addressing flowers in relation to censorship and identity. Visitors navigate a sensory-rich environment that begins in a silent 'maze' of flower arrangements and leads to a dynamic space known as 'the bar.'
