"Und was hat das mit mir zu tun?" is a theatrical research project that delves into the connection between young people and the last 100 years of Austrian history. In collaboration with the House of Austrian History (hdgö), young actors from the Theater:Klub at Dschungel Wien engage with the museum's exhibits. They research, document, and interview to understand the relevance of historical events, such as the occupation of the Hainburger Au or Johanna Dohnal's role as the first female minister, to their own lives. The project culminates in live performances held within the hdgö museum itself, offering visitors a unique blend of historical exploration and theatrical interpretation. These performances are designed to question and highlight the fights for rights that are now taken for granted, and to bridge the generational gap in understanding contemporary Austrian heritage. Performances were scheduled from June 3rd to 6th, 2023, each beginning at 6:30 PM within the museum.
