Brew York Brewery Tour Expands Reach with Nationwide Morrisons Supermarket Launch in York
Craft beer enthusiasts looking to experience local brewing excellence can now find familiar favourites closer to home, as Brew York rolls out a major nationwide retail partnership with Morrisons. While visitors can still tour the working city-centre facility to see the production process firsthand, this new supermarket listing brings several specialty releases directly to shelves across the country.
What's on the Shelves: Salted Caramel Tonkoko and the Nine Realms Series
The nationwide supermarket launch is anchored by a brand-new variation of the brand's signature milk stout. Alongside the core lineup, shoppers can discover Salted Caramel Tonkoko, which introduces rich caramel layers to the traditional coconut, vanilla, and tonka bean base. This limited-time release is the first in an upcoming series of seasonal twists planned for the year.
In addition to the stout, the retail selection features two distinct collaborative brews from the Nine Realms collection, designed around Norse mythology:
- Odin’s Gaze: A collaborative New England IPA crafted with Fierce Beer, offering tropical fruit and grapefruit notes.
- Freyr’s Bounty: A Session IPA created alongside Kelham Island Brewery, highlighting pine and pineapple characteristics.
Experiencing Craft Beer Culture in York
For visitors interested in the stories and ingredients behind these creations, the working brewery continues to offer guided experiences that cover the history of production, raw components, and structured tastings. Co-founder and Managing Director Wayne Smith notes that expanding into supermarkets provides a broader audience the chance to sample the independent lineup.
These new additions land in stores nationwide. To explore more local cultural spots, check out the search directory or plan your route using the interactive map on Musemap (musemap.art).
