Arcam is wheelchair accessible, with all floors accessible via a lift and an adapted toilet on the ground floor. Assistance is available upon request by contacting [email protected]. You can also make your museum visit sustainable by taking the Culture Ferry, a hop-on hop-off service connecting Arcam with other museums along Amsterdam's cultural waterfront. Be aware that GPS directions for Prins Hendrikkade 600 can be misleading as house numbers between 194 and 600 do not exist at that location; Arcam is between NEMO Science Museum and the National Maritime Museum, directly across from Kadijksplein.

From Amsterdam Central Station, take bus 22 or bus 48 to the Kadijksplein stop. Arcam is a short walk from there.

Driving and nearby road access

From the north (Ring A10), take exit 16 Noord/Centrum, drive through the IJ Tunnel, and turn left onto Prins Hendrikkade. Before the bridge, turn left and cross Prins Hendrikkade toward the waterfront. From all other directions (Ring A10), take exit 14 Zeeburg. Turn left toward Zeeburg/Centrum, continue straight through the Piet Hein Tunnel, then turn right onto Piet Heinkade. At the second traffic light, turn left, go under the railway bridge, and follow the curve right onto Prins Hendrikkade. Arcam is immediately on your right after the bridge. The nearest parking garage is Oosterdok Parking, open 24/7. Markenhoven Parking is about a 10-minute walk from Arcam.

From Amsterdam Central Station, turn left onto Oosterdokskade. Walk along the waterfront and cross the bridge toward NEMO. Cross the Oosterdok in front of the NEMO entrance and continue walking along the water. Arcam will be on your left-hand side. The walk takes about 15 minutes.
