Huis Marseille is Amsterdam’s first photography museum, offering exhibitions in two historic canal houses. Tickets for general admission can be purchased at the box office. The museum is best reached by bicycle or public transport.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office. An entrance ticket provides access to the exhibition(s), located across two historic canal houses, the library, and the garden(house). The bookshop is freely accessible. Groups of at least 8 persons should notify the museum one week in advance. If you wish to give your own tour or bring your own tour guide, you are required to notify the museum at least one week ahead of time and the group must be no larger than 15 persons. If you need an escort to visit the museum, they will be granted free access.

Visit highlights

Due to the historical character and monument status of the two canal houses, the museum is not fully accessible for differently-abled visitors, particularly wheelchair and walker users due to many staircases. Children’s prams can be temporarily left at reception during your visit. Pets are not allowed, with the exception of registered assistance dogs, which must wear a vest or harness and whose handler must present appropriate identification.
