Richard Long's exhibition at the Rijksmuseum showcases his renowned subtle interventions in the landscape. The display includes eight works, six of which are new, with four comprising elementary abstract forms in grass designed to change with the summer growth. These works echo his early career, referencing his 1967 breakthrough piece, 'A Line Made by Walking.' Additionally, two new monumental sculptures use stones carried by the Maas river. Inside the museum, visitors can see a river of red Indian stones traversing the Great Hall's mosaic floor and a circle of varicoloured stones in the Atrium, offering perspectives from above and up close. This exhibition marks the tenth in a series of free outdoor exhibitions at the Rijksmuseum Gardens, following previous displays by artists like Henry Moore and Louise Bourgeois.
