Some Possibilities: Contemporary Art Exhibition by Miren Doiz in Bilbao

Some Possibilities (Using Rubbish and Simulation) gathers works created by Miren Doiz during her 2024–2025 residency at BilbaoArte. The exhibition investigates the intersection of personal experience and global issues, focusing on themes of social precarity, housing speculation, and the political dimensions of waste generation. By repurposing items salvaged from the street, Doiz creates a dialogue about the environmental cost of consumption and the status of the artist in today's society. The artist’s practice represents a departure from traditional two-dimensional painting toward an expanded, spatial approach that invites viewers to inhabit the work.
