BRUSK Added to Musea Brugge Card: New Pricing and Access for Bruges Visitors
The local multi-museum pass for exploring heritage and art in Bruges is expanding its access. The Musea Brugge Card, which grants holders entry to an extensive network of cultural sites over a 72-hour period, will soon include the city's highly anticipated contemporary art venue, BRUSK.
This major addition brings a change to the pass's pricing structure, reflecting the inclusion of the new state-of-the-art gallery space.
Exploring BRUSK with the Musea Brugge Card
Starting from its grand opening on May 8, BRUSK will be fully integrated into the card's offerings. This allows travelers to seamlessly experience the city’s rich historical monuments alongside cutting-edge modern installations.
Because of the increased value and the addition of this premier venue, a new pricing model has been introduced for the Musea Brugge Card:
- Standard Pass: €49
- Youth (Under 26): €37
- Children & Teens (Under 18): €25
How to Use Your Museum Pass in Bruges
The card is designed to give independent travelers maximum flexibility. If you purchase the pass online, it does not immediately expire or begin counting down. The 72-hour validation window only triggers when you scan the card at your very first museum entry. You have up to one year from the initial purchase date to activate the card.
While the card guarantees admission to the participating venues, local organizers strongly advise reserving specific entry time slots online beforehand for each site you plan to visit. Booking time slots is especially recommended for high-demand heritage landmarks, such as the Belfry, to ensure entry during busy hours.
When planning your itinerary, remember that individual historic locations can occasionally close temporarily for exhibition transitions or maintenance. Checking specific location updates before heading out ensures a smooth sightseeing experience.
To make the most of your time in the city, you can use Musemap (musemap.art) to browse museums across the historic center, locate nearby attractions on the interactive Bruges map, or see what temporary displays are running by checking out the latest exhibitions in Bruges.
