What to Expect from Xtra Ordinary Vol. 27
The 27th installment of the project takes an unconventional physical form by pairing an album release with a 200-piece jigsaw puzzle. The puzzle features a collage showcasing all participating acts involved in the production.
Musically, the compilation spans a broad spectrum of genres, moving across reggae, hip-hop, metal, punk, and various styles in between. The tracklist brings together 37 different local and regional artistic projects, including Moby Stick, Amelie Tobien, Dame, Mynth, Please Madame, Dandelion, Magic Delphin, Elster, Blood & Champagne, The Velvet Swing, and Glue Crew. Each box also includes a digital download code to access the complete album audio.
Production and Local Collaboration
Created as a limited run, the project saw direct involvement from venue leadership, with managing director Wolfgang Descho overseeing coordination and production. For the final audio finish, the project utilized mastering by Wolfgang Schramml at Sonic Flow Studio, alongside visual artwork developed by the agency Christian Salic.
