Bijbels Museum's 'Zie mij' Exhibition Offers Fresh Perspectives on Biblical Stories
The Bijbels Museum (Cromhouthuizen) in Amsterdam is recognized for its engaging exhibitions that explore biblical themes within a cultural context. One such acclaimed presentation, "Zie mij. To ensure the exhibition resonates with a wide and culturally diverse audience, the accompanying biblical verses are presented in six languages: Dutch, Arabic, German, English, Frisian, and Tigrinya. This multilingual approach acknowledges the diverse origins of many of the stories depicted and helps make the narratives accessible to new Dutch communities, particularly those from regions where many biblical tales originated.
