Immerse yourself in the psychedelic works of Salvador Dalí at Fabrique des Lumières. This exhibition transforms Dalí's art into a fairytale-like, hallucinatory spectacle, complemented by the sounds of Pink Floyd, offering a unique journey into his fantastic world.
The exhibition, 'Dalí: The Endless Enigma,' invites visitors into the captivating and often fantastical world of Salvador Dalí. Presented as an immersive experience, it transcends traditional canvas viewing, turning his work into a grand spectacle of fairytales, hallucinations, and dreams. Accompanied by the iconic sounds of Pink Floyd, guests are encouraged to surrender to Dalí’s hyperbolic and uncanny artistic universe, losing themselves in the visual and auditory journey.
This production delves into all facets of Dalí's prolific career, from his early impressionistic and cubism-inspired creations to his later mystical and, most notably, surrealist periods. Curated by Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto, and Massimiliano Siccardi, the exhibition showcases how Dalí's art, thirty years after his death, continues to offer a welcome escape from reality. It has previously been shown at prestigious institutions such as the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation in Figueres, the Dalí Museum in Florida, the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, and MoMA in New York, now gracing the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam with a presentation designed to be unlike anything seen before.
