From October 21, 2021, Museum Het Schip showcases the work of sculptor Fabio Pravisani. Pravisani, born in 1971, created a sculpture of resistance fighter Jacoba van Tongeren, which was recently unveiled. A documentary about van Tongeren aired on May 4, 2021, with parts filmed at Museum Het Schip. Pravisani's solo exhibition at the museum, running until the end of March, features his bronze sculptures for sale. He was captivated by the monumental character and strict formal language of the Amsterdam School, drawing inspiration from artists like Tjipke Visser, Chris van der Hoef, Johan Altdorf, and Mendez da Costa, an influence evident in his own sculptures.
