Reunited historical paintings from Tokyo and Bruges at the Groeningemuseum
For the first time in over a century, two companion paintings from the same workshop are being displayed together in Belgium. Following a successful exhibition in Japan, the Groeningemuseum is hosting this unique reunion of works depicting the lives of Saints James and John, which were separated after being sold by a London dealer in the early 20th century. Visitors can view the pair from 16 June to 26 October 2026.
