Taste of Hope is an immersive, offline event designed to foster connection and reflection through shared food and art. Set amidst the Reply:Forward exhibition, which showcases the work of 21 young makers presenting visions of a hopeful future, this evening offers a space to explore themes of hope in the face of global challenges like housing shortages, climate change, and conflict. The program includes a guided tour of the exhibition by its curators, Caithlin, Mees, and Thierno, highlighting favorite artworks. This is followed by a facilitated discussion on individual, collective, and future-oriented hope, led by program makers from De Kwekerij. The buffet is provided by R&B Food Art & Culture. The event emphasizes active engagement and imagination, encouraging participants to put their phones away and connect with each other. Special guest artist Guido van der Werve will contribute with a piano performance of Chopin's Nocturne Op. 48 Nr 1.
Tickets cost €35.00 / €25.00 and include a guided tour. Discounts are available for Stadspas holders, seniors (65+), and students. Contact for those facing price barriers is encouraged.
