Art historian Marjolijn van Delft will guide participants through Smit's unique process of transforming old Bible paper into striking artworks. The webinar serves as a preview of the duo-exhibition 'Tijd en Eeuwigheid', which showcases Smit's paper creations alongside new poems by five contemporary Dutch poets exploring the concepts of Time and Eternity. The event aims to provide an insight into this cross-over exhibition, which is presented across two locations in The Hague: Escher in het Paleis and the Kloosterkerk. Annita Smit's work, characterized by its powerful yet tender aesthetic, is explored in the context of the overarching themes of Time and Eternity.
