EXODUS.NU presents an online exhibition showcasing more than sixty artworks that draw inspiration from the theme of EXODUS, a collection of stories from the Bible, Torah, and Koran centered on Moses leading his people out of slavery in Egypt. These ancient narratives possess universal relevance and offer significant inspiration, touching upon urgent societal themes such as fleeing one's country, slavery and liberation, leadership, and trust, as well as spiritual dimensions. The project stemmed from an Open Call initiated by the Bijbels Museum and Buitenplaats Doornburgh, which received over 700 submissions. A curatorial committee selected over 60 works for the online exhibition. Additionally, a selection of 28 works was shown in a physical group exhibition at Buitenplaats Doornburgh from March 24 to September 24, 2023, featuring artists like Eva Spierenburg, Antonio Jose Guzman, and Monika Dahlberg.
