Taste of Hope is an intimate, offline evening designed for reflection and the exchange of hopeful stories, held amidst the Reply:Forward exhibition. Attendees will enjoy a welcome drink, a guided tour of the exhibition by its creators, and a shared buffet dinner while engaging in facilitated discussions on themes of hope.
Taste of Hope offers a warm and intimate setting for reflection and the sharing of hopeful narratives, taking place during the Reply:Forward exhibition. This exhibition showcases the work of 21 young makers presenting a hopeful future. The event encourages participants to turn their phones to airplane mode for an evening of connection, dining, and art appreciation. The program includes a welcome drink and a guided tour of the Reply:Forward exhibition by its creators, Caithlin, Mees, and Thierno, who will highlight their favorite artworks. Following the tour, participants will engage in facilitated discussions led by program makers from De Kwekerij, focusing on individual hope, collective hope, and the hopeful future visible today, all while enjoying a buffet curated by R&B Food Art & Culture. Artist Guido van der Werve will provide a special contribution by playing Chopin's Nocturne Op. 48 Nr 1 on the piano. The evening aims to foster shared stories, images, and experiences of hope, serving as an exercise in imagination rather than mere wishful thinking, in a calm and respectful environment that allows for silence, reflection, and encounters across generations.
Tickets are available for €35.00 or €25.00 (with discounts for Stadspas, 65+, and students), including a guided tour.
