Waltman traveled to sixteen different countries, including Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Greece, Turkey, as well as European nations like the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Italy, to capture a diverse range of imagery. These photographs, encompassing landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and scenes of daily life across various cultures, are paired with chosen biblical verses to evoke a new and contemporary understanding of these ancient texts. A significant aspect of the exhibition is its multilingual presentation. To reach a broad and culturally diverse audience, the selected biblical verses are displayed in four languages: Dutch, English, Arabic, and Tigrinya.
