A rare cultural treasure has arrived in Bruges. The monumental 15th-century panel titled "Scenes from the Life of Saint Joseph" has been placed on long-term loan at the Groeningemuseum, offering visitors a unique opportunity to view a recognized Flemish Masterpiece up close.

This remarkable painting is normally housed in Saint Catherine’s Church in Hoogstraten. However, because the church is undergoing a comprehensive restoration program running from 2017 to 2029, its artworks have been temporarily relocated.
Before arriving in Bruges, "Scenes from the Life of Saint Joseph" underwent extensive research and restoration by the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK). Now successfully conserved, the panel has found a temporary home where it can be appreciated by a wide audience of local and international art lovers.
