The National Museum in Warsaw invites visitors to a special "Night of Museums" event on May 16, 2026. This annual occasion offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Poland's premier cultural institutions after hours, with a variety of attractions planned for an evening of discovery.

Held at the Main Building located at 3 Aleje Jerozolimskie, the event allows guests to freely explore the museum's extensive collections. Visitors can discover treasures of ancient art, admire the renowned wall paintings from Faras, and view masterpieces by old masters, 19th-century Polish painting, and significant examples of Polish design.
A highlight for attendees will be access to the temporary exhibition, "The Collector: Ignacy Korwin-Milewski (1846–1926)". Beyond the galleries, special activities include an interactive game designed to introduce guests to some of the museum's key artworks. For those curious about the museum's inner workings, behind-the-scenes tours of storage areas and other restricted spaces will be available. Families with children can also participate in "Wieczorynka" (Evening Storytime), a dedicated workshop for younger guests.

Admission to the museum and participation in the game are free of charge. However, guided tours and the family workshops require special tickets, priced at 2 PLN. These tickets will be available for purchase online and at the museum's ticket desk starting from May 12. All events and activities during the Night of Museums will be conducted in Polish.
